At Prolift we also possess the largest service division in Ireland with 15 service engineers working nationwide carrying out thorough examinations, testing, installations, and repair on all types of lifting equipment. We are currently Hiring for Multiple roles for our new Depot in the Cork

We are recruiting for the following position for this new office:
- Internal Sales
- Field Sales Representative
- Service Engineer
- Warehouse Operative
See below Details about these roles:
Internal Sales Rep:
Main Responsibilities:
• Working on the internal sales team you will be responsible for answering the phone for all sales/service enquiries along with 3 other members on the team.
• Quoting both customers and potential customers for all goods and services along with following up on any potential leads.
• Managing, maintaining and updating customer database.
• Processing sales orders on the system
• Generating leads for field sales team
Position Requirements:
• Have experience working in an office environment on an internal sales team.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with effective planning and organisational skills along with the ability to work on own initiative.
Field Sales Representative:
Main Responsibilities:
• He/She will be responsible for supporting and managing existing customers across various sectors within Munster region including manufacturing, pharmaceutical, food, construction and projects.
• Sourcing new customers and sales leads in the area through cold calling and
• Managing, maintaining, and updating customer database on our ERP system
• Identifying new business & promoting the company’s product and services
• Working alongside internal departments within Prolift including sales support, stores, service and accounts.
• Deliver product demonstrations to new and existing customers when required.
• Keep up to date on administration / customer account records / market trends etc.
• Quoting both customers and potential customers in your area for all goods and services along with following up on any potential leads.
• Report to director on weekly basis on all matters including sales calls completed, calls planned, figures for the month, projected sales, projects in area and other any other business.
Role Requirements:
• Minimum 2+ years’ experience of Field Sales / Business Development in a related technical role.
• Previous sales experience across a variety of sectors/industries would be a major advantage. These industries would include pharmaceutical, food,
manufacturing, construction and distributors/resellers.
• Knowledge of the region – Geography and industry
• Ideally based in Cork where our new office is located
• Dealing with people in different roles such as Purchasing, plant managers, operation manager and health and safety staff.
• Excellent communication / presentation and product demonstration skills.
• A full driver’s licence.
Service Engineer:
Main Responsibilities
• Carrying out load tests, visual inspections, installations, repairs and overhauls of lifting, material handling and height safety equipment. Training will be provided.
• Working on the service team you will be responsible for checking google calendar and contacting customers directly to organise jobs assigned to you.
• Liaising with service co-ordinator for work booked in.
• Our engineers use PDA’s (handheld digital devices) when carrying out inspections on assets so
• Filling out and handing in time sheets for each day worked at end of every week.
Position Requirements:
• Have experience working on a service team specifically relating to lifting equipment and plant
• For the work we carry out a mechanical or electrical background would be of benefit or also experience in hydraulics or pneumatic.
• Excellent communication skills coupled with effective planning and organisational skills along with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Proficient in IT including google calendars for service engineers and experience in Quickbooks software would be an advantage but not essential.
Warehouse operative
Main Responsibilities
• Picking orders and getting ready for collection or dispatch
• Responsible for stock including stock takes and receipting in of stock
• Ideally available to carry out examination of lifting and height safety equipment in warehouse if trained and experienced
• Will be required to assemble chain slings assemblies (training provided)
• Dealing with people coming into the office at trade counter
• Using ERP system to carry out above duties where required
Position Requirements
• Have experience working in a warehouse and ideally have experience relating to lifting equipment and plant
• Excellent communication skills coupled with effective planning and organisational skills along with the ability to work on own initiative.
• Proficient in IT including familiarity with modern ERP systems and use of tablet
